Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Hey everyone! We got back in early this morning! Got in around 2am...then had to give it a quick bath to wash the bugs off of it. If any or my neighbors where up, they must think, well, they already know, I am crazy! 12+ hour run back from Birmingham. LOVING the car so far! It is awesome. A few comments from me about it: Very comfortable cruiser/touring car. Build quality is top notch. I smell like leather when I get out! LOL! The car handles the road well. Good feedback, a little road noise from the tires , but nothing to complain about. The car has good power. LOVE the sounds it makes, especially with the sport exhaust open! HAHA!! (a little on my car background: always had high horsepower/muscle cars: 1970 Nova, 1966 Chevy II-700+HP, C6 ZO6 Corvette-680 HP, and I just recently sold my almost 1000 HP twin turbo'd Shelby GT500 Mustang . Soooooo: I am almost ruined/spoiled when it comes to HP and speed/acceleration.) Now, however, I don't know if it is the lightweight nature of the 911, the way the power is delivered, or the PDK , but this car actually feels quick to me! Not blindingly fast, but quick and I am very satisfied with this area. We put about 800 +/- miles on it during our road journey! Wifey said she loved the seats and was very comfortable. I wish it had a little more storage space/areas inside, but the glove box takes all my stuff like a champ! The brakes seem fantastic! They will stop this car! NOW! I am now going to be headed out to detail her up to my standards! POST 5Original post

Nice options, I too picked my car up far away and drove her home! Definitely worth it to find the right one. Congratulations!

POST 7Original post

Thanks all! We enjoyed the trip back home! It was a good way to do it!

POST 8Original post

Really nice car with great options! Enjoy the new ride.

POST 10Original post

I love the three red 981s in the third picture. lol Seriously, beautiful car.

POST 11Original post

Beautiful car in a beautiful color. Agate gray is my favorite color for a Porsche, and the only reason that I didn't order it for my 981S is because I've had that color on my '07 997S.

POST 12Original post

I see you bought at Tom Williams. Who did you deal with, just out of curiosity. I bought two A3s, an 08TT, my 08 CS from them and did referrals for 5 other purchases. I had pretty good luck with them when Trey Moody was there as my SA................he left unfortunately.

POST 13Original post

Thanks for the comments everyone! Lee Goodson, good guy!

POST 14Original post

Grats on the 911! Love the agate/beige combo and I'm jealous of your garage.
