Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Can anyone tell me if the speed activated spoiler fitted as standard will still lift if fitted with the Aero spoiler ? Or should it still be deactivated via wiring loop ?

POST 2Original post

I have the fixed spoiler and no lifting one - don't think there would be enough space. But I'm usually wrong.

POST 4Original post

When the carerra fixed spoiler is fitted the lifting mechanism is removed and a wiring harness loop is fitted to stop the instrument light being lit all the time. I removed my pop-up for a fixed spoiler. the third brake light is removed from the bodywork and a blanking plate is put in it's place as the fixed spoiler has its own light . TB

POST 6Original post

It's a total replacement, you can't have both. There's another thread from only the other day talking about the wiring change to disable the spoiler warning indicator. Both PorscheShop and Design911 offer retrofit packages, don't forget to mention the forum for a bit of discount and haggle J

POST 7Original post

And make sure you phone them first to check it's in stock. Just recently made this mistake and it cost me extra in time and money...

POST 8Original post

:floor: From OPC IIRC £1500 spoiler +£50 wiring loom + £500 paint/fit + VAT TB
