Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I understand that the best thing to do is first check the relays, then the resistors and finally the fan motor.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi guys, I'm in the process of replacing my radiators and investigating why one of the cooling fans isn't working. I understand that the best thing to do is first check the relays, then the resistors and finally the fan motor. Unfortunately I don't know where the relays are! Any pointers? I guess I need to switch the fan relays around to determine which (if either) is broken - anyone know which relays to switch? Thanks in advance!

POST 2Original post

Relay Support 1 is located in the driver's footwell, above the pedals and fuse box. 19 - Radiator Fan 1 - Stage 1 20 - Radiator Fan 1 - Stage 2 21 - Radiator Fan 2 - Stage 1 22 - Radiator Fan 2 - Stage 2
