Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

 • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

i Noticed that when you leave the car, the LED's behing the rear view mirror & behind door handles and also the light on the switch (front hood & rear hood) stay on. I waited 30 seconds, the interior light went out, but the leds' stayed on. Then i used the remote to lock the car, which at this point they turned off. please help.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

what about the dash? if you talking about light swich, it's off. I am talking about the LED's they have behind the door handle & behind the rear view mirror (the little yellow LEDs).

POST 4Original post

It's normal. They'll go off after some period of time which is slightly greater than the amount of time you'll stand in a dark garage waiting for them to turn off. (I think this was recently covered here or on another board and the shutoff time is >1 hour)

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

thanks a lot. one less headache.

POST 6Original post

I mean while you were noticing that the LED's were still on, did you happen to glance up at the dash and notice that the display is still on? The LED's are called "Orientation lights" . I'm not sure when they do turn off, but they are there to be on even after the dome is off. The don't serve any purpose when the dome is on. The cluster LCD's stay on a while too. Go to your car and check it out. It's all normal.

List all the headaches! We'll knock 'em out one at a time for you! (As long as they are all that easy, anyway!)
