Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I checked with my insurers before I changed, and they were quite happy with any tyre, so long as it was the same size and speed rating as the original fitment.

I think i got a good deal £268 for a pair of fronts fitted 225/40/18 and gave me a price of £488 for a pair of rears fitted 295/30/18.

2 x 265/35/18 PZero Rosso's fitted today - £340 all in.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Just had 2 new front tyres fitted today and got told that it was the original fronts that were coming off, which have done 22752 miles
. Bridgestone potenza s02 came off and thats whats gone back on.
Thats pretty good wear for the front originals.
I have a carrera 4 3.6 currently with Bridgestones but had been thinking of Michelins next time as they seem to be favour of the month for less road noise. They do seem to cost 25% more than the Bridgestones so will continue to debate. Problem is that with rears wearing more than the fronts I need to get timing right to change all 4 at the same time !
The rears have been on my car since 2007 and getting close to being changed. So i'll be putting rears on in about 6 weeks. i've not noticed the road noise to be bad with the bridgestones at all. I think i got a good deal £268 for a pair of fronts fitted 225/40/18 and gave me a price of £488 for a pair of rears fitted 295/30/18.
I see what yous have been saying about goodyear eagle f1's but they dont do a 295/30/18 :dont know: . The cheapest is Falken's in that size which are about £135 each, but im not putting them on.
Us 295/30/18 users are very restricted as to what is available. If you want a change from N rated, try the Yohohama Advan Sport V103. I fitted them to my Turbo and they are great.

They should be fine, but I personally wouldn't put different brands on front/rear. I got really fed up with replacing the Contis on the rear every 4000 miles, so I changed all four. I also wanted to try something other than the standard N rated offerings. As I said, with 295/30/18s (Turbos and C4Ss) you are very limited. So far, they have been excellent. They are much quieter, grippier, and are lasting really well. I checked with my insurers before I changed, and they were quite happy with any tyre, so long as it was the same size and speed rating as the original fitment.
