I've always used Shell Vpower in my performance cars but Tesco99 does get really good reviews everywhere.

Have used Shell Optimax / V-Power for years (partly because I have a Shell garage round the corner and no Tesco / BP near me), would recommend it...

Welcome and enjoy the new car. I personally only ever use Shell V-Power and usually go to the same petrol station every fill up (if possible). If I had a Tesco nearby I would, however, use that.

I only use BP Ultimate in an emergency - it's only 97 octane and I can't tell the difference to 95 RON to be honest... V-Power and Tesco 99 are noticeable in both range and performance. I've found Total Excellium to be better than BP Ultimate - it is 98 octane and seems to be a good compromise when no Shell / Tesco nearby (especially when I go to Belgium)
