I recently had a coil pack go but at the time I couldnt be bothered to check each one, to see which had failed so had it plugged into diagnostics to find out which pack failed, he also reset the light.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Folks, I am looking at a cheap method of resetting my airbag light on Porsche and reading fault codes/reset service lights etc. The only options as I see are 1. Go to Porsche dealer or Garage (which is expensive) 2. Durametric Diagnostic kit which is still expensive but the only aftermarket kit I can see. Does anyone know of any others or have any recommendations for any diagnostics kits? My other car is a BMW and I have a cheap INPA cable kit which does the job perfectly (I don’t mind cheap clones if anything is available) Thanks in advance.
