I believe some have used gutter guard for the de-snorkle job. I bought some at Home Depot, but I was expecting it to be made of metal. This one is plastic. Is that what other have used, plastic gutter guard? Thanks!

I was thinking that if the gutter guard plastic is supposed to withstand sun, rain and everything else mother nature throws at it, it must be pretty tough.

Fiebru, The gutter guard that I picked up at Home Depot was aluminum. It had 2 little metal clips along one edge for fastening to the outer edge of the gutter. Of course those were thrown away.
