I checked tire rack, but no H&R's showing for the Cayman S, only Eibach.

I kept the stock PASM shocks - changed springs only

I have PASM and when my car comes in i'm planning on using H&R springs, from the research i've done and the people i've talked to it seems like a good way to go if you are planning on lowering your cayman

Suggestion
I'm waiting for the PSS9 Damptronic system since that will give the best of both worlds, the adjustability of the PSS9 system combined with the automatic dampening changes of PASM.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

has anyone found anyone heard of any news on lowering springs for pasm equiped caymans? if so, which company lowers the crocs with pasm the most? do h&r have springs specifically for pasm yet?

Welcome! Look in the topic above for lots of references to topics about lowering. You may find what you need there if someone doesn't answer.
i used H&R springs on my PASM croc. My dealer told me they are fine - no problems with warranty or PASM. Also H&R specifically states that they are fine for PASM. I had an electrical glitch after install that was fixed and have not had any issue with PASM since. Car looks MUCH better. I only notice slight difference in harshness of the ride - for example, the NORMAL mode with the short springs is much less of a difference than the SPORT mode with the stock springs.
good luck with it.
I'm waiting for the PSS9 Damptronic system since that will give the best of both worlds, the adjustability of the PSS9 system combined with the automatic dampening changes of PASM. As others have said though the springs from H&R and others seem to work OK so far with PASM but you may get some ride quality differences.

Has anyone in the Santa Monica / WLA area had their PASM Croc lowered with H&R springs? I would like a recommendation and price. I can get the springs from Tire Rack for $315. Part number #54020.
Thank You
I checked tire rack, but no H&R's showing for the Cayman S, only Eibach.
As for the H&Rs, does the 1.4" drop in the front and 1.2" drop in the rear give the car a pitched stance to the front?
For comparison, I noticed the Eibach's drop the Cayman 1.2" both front and back. Seems to me the H&R's might pitch the car to the front.
Hey whats up guys,
I have read this post and decided to buy myself some springs for x-mass but i want to get a little more info from some of you. First it seams that everyone that lowered there car had PASM (good b/c i do to) but you all only did the springs, nothing else. In all seriousness how much stiffer/bumpier is the ride. Second with the exception of only one of you nobody has had any problems with the PASM not working correct?? Finlay if money was not an abject would you guy that have been driving the car lowered with just springs do it over again but this time with complete coil overs, ex: the set up Techart offers for about 5K??
Thanks
I'm hesitant to change only the springs for the same reason you are. I think that properly matched springs and dampers would be better. Some with 911 owners who switched to stiffer springs paired with the OEM shocks reported some spring bounce (under-dampening) on track, and somewhat earlier than usual shock wear. To avoid this, some either got the PSS9 system, or matched the stiffer springs with heavy duty/sport shocks.
H&R hasn't come out yet with theirs, its been a while now since I called them about a year ago, they told me they where in the process and will come out with them in a couple of months... mhmmm, wonder when will they come out with some PASM compatible coilovers. Here is the link to where they sell them

. Also for the KW I know they have them already, here is a link also
