right now, we have raised the car using the spring perches but in doing so, the springs are too stiff for daily driving.

I have a JIC cross comp coilover suspension. my mechanic has not found the right way to adjust them so i was wondering if anyone here can help?

adjust what? the damping or the ride height? jics (for most of their apps, dont know about porsche) have seperate height adjustment at the lower mount. so you can lower the car without using up wheel travel. you can also adjust ride height with spring perches. jic has a US office, call them.

thanks, i think i will. i know about the seperate adjustments but wondered if anyone has been able to undo the bottom mounts for threading up and down the ride height without having to loosen the top mounts. right now, we have raised the car using the spring perches but in doing so, the springs are too stiff for daily driving.

-most coilovers use at 2.25, or 2.5" diameter spring. if you wanna go softer firms like eibach & hypercoil sell high quality springs in 25lb spring rate increments, and in any free length you need. check what springs are on the jics, they quote them in kg/mm which converts to lbs/inch by multiplying by 56.134.
