Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Thanks, read that part in the manual about it switching off briefly, didn't see where it said anything about the temp light flashing, not 100% sure about the ECO button, will double check tho...

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

I did a search but couldn't find an answer to my deal, sorry if it's out there, but I did look last day or so. Made the mistake of getting caught in traffic gong into the USA on 7/4/09, didn't listen to the boss as she said it would be ridiculous and headed over, stupid. I was sitting in traffic for maybe 30-40 mins with the air on, wasn't real hot outside, maybe 80, and got this message saying the compressor blower failed or something like that with a pic of the blower, also the red bar on the temp guage was flashing on the far right side. Shut off the air and couldn't go anywhere so I rode it out and it cleared in 15-20 minutes time, then after that the air seemed to not quite be able to pull down to what would fell like normal temps, I hardly use the air, prefer the window down so it's the first time I've seen it, issue or not, thanks....:helpme:

POST 2Original post

Per the Owner's Manual " May switch off briefly to ensure sufficient engine cooling if the engine is operating under extreme load." So I'd guess it is o.k. just be sure you turned everything back on properly per the Manual. Since you don't use it much it is possible to have pushed the ECO button unintentionally.

POST 3Original post

Thanks, read that part in the manual about it switching off briefly, didn't see where it said anything about the temp light flashing, not 100% sure about the ECO button, will double check tho...

POST 4Original post

Please read the section on the cooling system for more on the warning light (page 86) and coolant level (page 176).

POST 5Original post

Will do..never thought to read the warning light section, went to the aircon section, thanks.
