Been having a few niggles recently with my '07 2.7 cayman . Was in the workshop a few weeks ago because of a terrible misfire which turned out to be a vacuum leak. During the diagnosis of this they replaced the coils and plugs and checked everything over. Now it's developed a slight cough/splutter/hesitation when pulling away at around 1000rpm it's all gone by 1200rpm and then pulls through the rev range without any problems. It doesn't do it when you rev the engine in neutral and i've not noticed it when it's driven from cold. Before i book it back in does anyone have any pointers?

Hesitations are almost always related to insufficient amount of fuel. Suggest you first try cleaning the mass airflow sensor since problem experienced at low rpm, then maybe injector cleaner, too.
