Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

I changed my serpentine belt, inspected the pulleys, and the power steering pulley makes this noise. Is this normal? https://youtu.be/OuKRNNbgsGc

POST 4Original post

I didn't know if the pulley has a bad bearing or is that just the sound the pump makes.

POST 5Original post

I see you're not getting many responses here. I'm no expert, but to me that does not sound normal nor does it sound like a bearing. Sounds like something external to the pump is hitting something when you rotate the pulley. Can you get an inspection mirror to see behind the pulley, or maybe even remove the pulley if that is not too hard? Based on that noise I'd be surprised if anything bad is going on inside the pump, but you should figure it out.

POST 6Original post

Talked to a mechanic and sounds like I'm ok. Thanks for your thoughts, appreciate it.
