Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

In my day you could take a girl to the South of France, have a slap-up meal on the Promenade des Anglais, get a taxi back to the hotel and still have enough change from £415 to feed your whippet.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I have wanted a 911 for years before I finally owned one.
I have always considered the guy that buys a 911 knows that little bit more about driving than the sheep that buy BMW or Subaru
That being the case it pains me when Ii see a 911 driven badly as I did on Wednesday evening
M25 counter-clockwise somewhere west of the M11.
Lane swapping, undertaking, accelerating, slowing, driving to attract notice, not satisfied to (in the words of Roadcraft) "make progress without fuss or flourish"
I'm sure he isn't here reading this, but if he were I'd just like to point out that a well driven Porsche says more than any amount of pathetic, adolescent showboating.
As I have said before elsewhere, there are those who buy a Porsche cos they are true enthusiasts ... and then, there are those who buy a Porsche cos they can...
Hey Rob, don't tar everybody with the same brush, I also own a BMW and have owned several, they have their place too.
There will be people who saw that Porsche being driven by a twat and will no doubt label all Porsche drivers as twats because of it, and you know that isn't true too.
Re: Don't you hate it when you see a 911 being driven by a t
Not on here please, I have seen an internet site that does it and it is not pleasant reading.

Alf, apologies if that was not well worded. The BMW as a marque is very much a victim of its own success with every oik in the country desperate to own what is apparently known as a 'free series', of even better an 'em free'.
Consider yourself excluded from the 'sheep' tag.
Can't post his reg, I didn't spot it. Not sure I would if I had it.
I was in stealth mode at the time, driving the X-type Jagdeo

Although I do not bother posting on forums often on this occasion i feel compelled. It certainly is annoying when you see some fool driving like a tool in any car on the road & especially as you have described in quite heavy traffic.
This is not the reason for my reply, years ago I had a discussion with someone who said to me " I don't like Porsche because of the type of people who drive them", my reply was how on earth can you generalise about a persons character through the type of car they drive/own. I further pointed out that as (at that time) also owned M3, a Maserati Ghibli & a Fiat Uno 1.0e did this mean that I have a multiple split personality disorder? I think it mellowed his opinion about Porsche owners in general, however after reading comments here they absolutely smack of total arrogance & actually give fuel to the Porsche stereo type. Its only a car , owning/driving one does not make anyone a better person or a more balanced person because of it, in fact arrogant comments to me sound extremely immature I'm sorry to say.
Oh & when you were in "Stealth mode ie Jag did that make you a fat middle aged pompous fool... no I did not think so, get the picture?
I have neighbour with a V8 bmw he's a twat
He drives up and down our res. Way too fast because his v8 sounds so good so he wants us all to here it
He had a Audi v8 which he did the same in until someone stole it after 4 weeks of ownership.Sad.
So yes it's the driver not the car type that makes him what he is. A twat.
I'd tell him but Mrs. Adeymars says he's a 3rd dan blackbelt and so is his wife!
Weaving in and out of traffic cannot be tolarated and these people should be reported and arrested before they kill someone or many other road users. :cop:
the way i look at it is that twats are twats , doesn't matter what they drive !! but i refuse to stereotype people because of what they drive !! unless it's a white van and they are on the phone !!! LOL :floor:
Humph!
I'm old AND paying a fortune to insure the 996.
£415!
