Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I just changed these lamps out on mine with LEDs to better match my HIDs.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

That might be the stupid question of the day, but I can't figure out how to get to the little light bulb in the light assembly. Yes I know I need to pop the whole headlight assembly out but then, where is it?

POST 2Original post

and what light bulb doesn't work and needs replacing? Most light bulb replacements are covered in the owner's manual. Even a klutz like me has done em. But the low beams are the higher bulb and the high beams are the lower and that isn't immediately obvious.

POST 3Original post

Pop out the whole assembly then pop the cover off the back. The marker light is the “third light” between the much larger high and low beams. There are three wires leading to a little plug. Just grab the plug and pull it out. I just changed these lamps out on mine with LEDs to better match my HIDs. Disclaimer… These instructions are based on my best recollection and maybe subject to error.

POST 4Original post

It's the little one right below the litronic bulb. You just pull the wire and the bulb assembly holding the marker light will come out. Yes reading the manual helps.
