Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

If a shop misplaced the hook up for the temp sensor I'd get them to work on reconnecting AFTER they explain exactly where and how so that you have a chance to do it instead of.......

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I had this message 2 weeks ago along with a check engine light. Went to Autozone and used their code reader for free. The code was a "left bank rich" code. I reset it and it has not returned. I cleaned the Mass Airflow Sensor and took it for a long drive. I beleive the issue was a substantial amount of short drives and sitting in traffic etc...something I had been doing for the prior week, but is not a normal driving habbit.
Symptons: Pulled engine & transmission- did LN ims, new plugs, AOS, breather tube, transmission fluid, oil change, etc. and reinstalled.
Test drove about 7 miles. All seemed fine. On the drive home, one mile from home an Audi super car that looked like a Lambroughini pulled up next to me and started reving its engine at a light.
We both punched it and my light came on. Car ran normal. The only other sympton is I can not find my temp. sensor for the engine bay that used to be over the back bolt of AC compressor. Does anyone know where that wire originates from?
Also just pulled battery terminals & replaced and light went away?
Good thing you didn't get that CEL when the engine was out.

If you did the pull the engine then oops
Weeelllll if it's the R8 5.2 that would be published 0-60 of 3.7 sec. with a top speed of 196. And, with mid mounted engine and Quattro drive, I'm not too sure we could lose it in the twisties either. Quite frankly, at the risk of drawing the ire of folks here on this board, it looks like a nice car. A bit of a pig at over 3700 lbs though. Also, a bit too much bling on the exterior but I still would like to take a long spin in one.
