Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

24 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

...well not wrong because of this specific model. It's just that I already own a 7.2 GT3 which I am using as a daily driver. I even have a set of wheels with winter tires to go with it. Using highly advanced man math/logic I convinced myself that getting an RS on top of it is a wise idea. I adore my GT3 and it's just the perfect car for me. However, piling on the miles does leave me with a bit of an uneasy feeling as it is a very special car. Hence I thought getting an RS (at least it's somewhat different to the GT3) on top, would make things much easier. I can continue driving the GT3 everyday and have an RS to cherish for the long term. Then I came across a well cared for white/red RS with all the relevant trimmings at an official Porsche dealer including full warranty and a highly attractive price. So I sealed the deal today. Now, tell me I am wrong...

POST 2Original post

Worst I've got 2 GT3's thread ever. Jokes, can't tell you you're wrong as sounds like a perfectly logical choice to me

POST 3Original post

Definitely wrong, far too much risk of depreciation and they will both need a 10K refresh any day, so you give the 7.2 RS to me!

POST 4Original post

Like the logic! You did well to find an RS, let alone one at a sensible price. They are very special cars, enjoy.

Liking the man math / logic. But suspect you need to cherish both and get a turbo for mundane commuting in all weathers.....you know it makes sense.

POST 13Original post

Saw a set of GT3 Winter wheels at BHP motorsport the other year after they'd swapped them over for the owner's Summer set. At the time I thought what a legend . That wasn't you per chance was it? Best case of man maths for sure! Cars are like watches - a man can never have enough. Enjoy both of your GT3s. Edited by jms1 on Tuesday 14th October 00:06

Swap the GT3 for a Turbo and keep the RS for weekends.

POST 17Original post

Add a 7 turbo to keep the RS for sunny, special days. Too tempting to us the Rs all the time. So more pork is the only man maths answer.
