Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

This is an interview with Barry Newman who played the driver of the Dodge Challanger in the car-cult movie 'Vanishing Point.' Notice what care he wants to buy in the 2nd to the last question and answer... brad -------------------------------------------- AutoWeek Download: Barry Newman By BOB GRITZINGER AutoWeek | Published 12/29/05, 9:42 am et In the 1971 Counterculture cult film Vanishing Point, actor Barry Newman played Kowalski, sharing top billing with a 1970 Dodge Challenger. With a new Challenger in the offing (Cover Story, page 14), Newman shared his thoughts on Dodge’s iconic muscle car. AW: What piqued your interest in the Challenger concept? Newman: I saw that it was based on the 1970 Challenger and I thought ‘Oh my God, that’s the same car I drove in Vanishing Point.’ I love to see it, of course. AW: How many cars did you use filming Vanishing Point? Newman: Four. We had a great technician named Max Balchowsky who would take parts from one car and put them on another and—boom!—we’d be ready to go. AW: The late Max Balchowsky—the race car builder behind Ol’ Yaller? What was he like to work with? Newman: We called him “The Doctor” because he always wore a white lab coat and he never had grease on it. AW: What was the 1970 Challenger like to drive? Newman: I always felt like the engine was too much for the body. AW: Any interest in owning a Challenger? Newman: I have the scale model—No. 1 out of 4500. But I’m really interested in that new Porsche Cayman. AW: Are you ready to do a remake? Newman: I’m ready to shoot the movie again … but in my own mind I think, why fool with it?
