I have a Feb build and just made another change - so I don't think all Feb builds have converted to Jan builds, or I wouldn't of been able to make the change.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Planet-9: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

I know I am way behind most of you who are waiting to pick up your Caymans any day now, but my wait begins today. I found out that the dealers Feb. build cars juct converted to Jan. builds, suggesting things are moving faster than anticipated. He feels my March car will soon convert to a Feb. build. That would be awesome. Thanks to all of you for your advice and enthusiasm. Here is my present configuration. I remain open to suggestions! Arctic/natural brown, xenon, climate, heated seats, bose, leather sport seats, leather sport steering wheel, 19' sportdesign wheels w/colored porsche crest, aluminum door sil, makassar package and center console. Peace, Michael

POST 9Original post

makassar is a wood trim option, the darker of the two. it is also called 'zebrawood', a tropical hardwood that lloks very much like ebony, but has lighter, almost blond contrasting grain. after i saw it in a 911 with a beige interior, i was hooked. it looks so rich and constrasts with the leather perfectly. the package does the shifter and emergency brake, as well as the trim strip across the entire dash in wood. my dealer (pass and weitz in burlinton mass) just took delivery of 3 caymans at about 2 pm. at least one one is not sold yet! peace, michael

POST 10Original post
