Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I recall a Bently designer talking about good proportions between wheel and car height - as I recall he used a figure of 2.5 ie.
Leading evidence: 'Use figure of 2.5 ie' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use figure of 2.5 ie' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

well, as i missed the feb slot, i have a bit of time to choose for the march build. i am seriously thinking about the natural brown leather option with actic silver, and a few makkasar bits (doesnt that sound nice?)
i have been trying to configure it online, and my question is: if you pay the 3600 or so for the natural option, must you still choose "full leather" to get the dash and all in leather as well? i had assumed so, but once i chose special leather, i could not choose "full leather"
same thing with the leather sport seats. i thought it was a 400 option with full leather, but it was still ringing up at full charge.
this may all be a safari problem with the porsche site.
peace, michael

Lots of problems with the Porsche configurator.
For the $3600 you get full Natural leather just as you would with the Special leathers @ 2.5K, or full base leathers for $2K.
Yes, sport seats should only be $400 with any full leather I believe.
Artic with Nat. Brown......

Hey atlas, thanks a ton for your quick (and positive) response, but even more for giving me the first pic of the combination. it looks amazing! i am sold on it, especially since i am over 2 grand ahead now! i can afford a few makassar bits! the darker wood contrasting to the lighter leather should be stunning. you don't by chance have pics of that as well?
peace, michael
No prob Michael.....sorry no pics of the wood option you are looking at, but IMO there is no better interior for wood options than natural brown......they seem to be made for each other. A short time ago my dealer had a Midnight Blue / Nat. Brown 997 Cab with lots of wood options......looked excellent.
Here's my secret for the pics.......

i submit to you the following:
Arctic/natural brown,
xenon,
heated seats,
leather sport seats,
bose,
19" sportdesign wheels (i cant help myself),
climate,
leather sport steering wheel,
aluminum door sil,
makassar package and center console.
i think i am done. too bad i could not order a feb build today!

I just ordered mine (Lapis/Stone full leather). On all 'full leather' packages the dash, shifter, brake lever and part of door are in leather. The sport seats are $400.
michael, I think it is very nice. Since it is your money I'd suggest considering the painted wheel centers, either Porsche floor mats or aftermarket and the auto dimming mirrors.
Atlas,
You been keeping that a secret! That is just too much fun. I found all kinds of Cobalts and what fun seeing the different combos.
Thanks Russ

The info I got was 3 weeks through build process, 3 weeks to dealer.
Keeing fingers crossed...

I wonder if those rims would look good on a Cayman - I hope there will be a good selection of after market rims in 19' and 20' sizes.
I recall a Bently designer talking about good proportions between wheel and car height - as I recall he used a figure of 2.5 ie. car height <= wheel height * 2.5 - I think he was talking about overall wheel size ie. rim and tire, so 20' rim would not change that equation.
