Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've had a fault develope in the last day or 2 with my drivers window. When i pull the door handle and get out of the car the window rightly so, drops about 5mm. But as soon as l replease the handle it returns striaght back to its original position in the door. So on closing the door the glass does not fit properly. I would also like to guess it won't take to long until it breaks. Any ideas???

POST 2Original post

Those max power seats are cuasing some problems mate :?:  Where are the pics??

POST 3Original post

Try a search on this forum, it has been covered numerous times in the past. Theres a module inside the drivers door lock which contains 5 microswitches IIRC. One of these controls the window drop feature. You may be able to replace or repair the microswitch. If not, I believe the whole module is around £75 plus vat.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Dave, Thanks for that. I did have a quick search the other day but found nothing. However, £75 isn't the end of the world neil

POST 5Original post
