Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Paris Audio installed a hands-free kit for my Motorola V60.

I'd STRONGLY recommend these guys to anyone who's willing to pay for top notch equipment.

I'd love to use Paris but I'm on the East Coast and don't want to fly someone out from LA to do a phone install.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Thanks to all who gave advice on audio upgrades, cell phone installation and PSE for my '03 996 coupe. Things have worked out so well that I thought I'd report back the results.
PSE. I was about to add the PSE but then I checked out an '03 with it installed. I don;t think it makes a difference sufficient to warrant the expenditure in the '03. May have been the specific cars, but there seems to be a difference between the stock '02 vs. '03 and my '03 definitely sounds good enough for me personally. Obviously this is highly subjective.
AUDIO. I went to Paris Audio (LA) and they took excellent care of me and my car (although my wallet is sore). Installed an Eclipse head unit/CD, a Diamond Audio 4-channel amp, Diamond Audio dash speakers and rear speakers, Focal 6.5" woofers in the doors, added sound baffling in the doors, adjusted crossovers, etc. The sound is on another plane compared to the stock digital hifi system that was in the car. It is hard to describe the difference - it is simply f-ing amazing. No distortion, clean, clear, no hiss at low levels, etc, etc, superlative, superlative. Installation was total quality. I was against the Eclipse unit based on looks at first, but it makes a sizable difference in quality and the one that I got is so simple that it doesn't bother me. This is such a worthwhile improvement if you like to drive with music - I love to just hear the car when I'm on open, twisty roads, but in daily traffic, I want the tunes. I'd STRONGLY recommend these guys to anyone who's willing to pay for top notch equipment. The only regret is that I have not added a subwoofer. I wanted to spend some time without it first, as it adds a LOT of cost and I'm not a bass freak. Turns out, I wouldn't mind adding the sub when I can afford it.
PHONE. Paris Audio installed a hands-free kit for my Motorola V60. Works perfectly, looks perfectly integrated and stock (which of course, the parts are). Radio mute feature works with the Eclipse perfectly. Again, seamless install by Paris Audio.
Thanks again for everyone's advice. I'm damn happy. Now I just need to rationalize the bucks for the sub...
Can you post some more details on the parts used and pictures on the V60 install? I'm looking at the same setup and would like to provide some direction to the installer. I'd love to use Paris but I'm on the East Coast and don't want to fly someone out from LA to do a phone install.
TIA
Karl
Glad you're happy with the stereo (although I went through the no-sub phase, too, and I can tell you --- Get the Subs!).
You're the second or third person who mentioned that the difference of stock vs PSE was not that great on the newer (02+) cars. All I can tell you is that on my 99, it's a night and day difference. I also recently had the opportunity to hear the Fabspeed system (with mufflers, not the Supercup system with just pipes), and I became a believer. Nice and deep - a huge difference from stock on either car.
Good luck with the subs! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />
