Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Hey all. Going to be replacing my clutch, flywheel, and a whole bunch of other stuff. Putting together my parts order. In looking at the catalog, here's what I see for the pressure plate bolts: Am I understanding correctly that Porsche advises no longer using the part on the first line ending -03, and instead the part in the parenthesis (as I understand it, designated in such a fashion because it's not reflected in the diagram) ending -01 on the fourth line? To confuse matters a little further I can't find this part number, it shows as being superseded by a 9a7 part no. But I imagine that's the right one -- it seems they've switched to a torx head in that application because it's better/much easier to avoid stripping?

POST 2Original post

The short answer is "I don't know"...but I recommend giving Pelican Parts a call. They will get you the correct part (or even just part #).

POST 3Original post

Ya call them… it’s better to get a solid answer
