Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion

It turns out that the red terminal/fuse A had slipped back behind all of the fuses somehow, so my son and I had to pull everything in that area to get to it...once we were able to reach it, there was no problem using the new battery to get the front hatch open.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Can't believe it, but walked out today and my battery was completely dead. I've purchased a new battery to install, but can't quite figure out where to attach the positive jumper cable in the fuse box area as described on page 234 of the manual. It says to "pull out positive terminal A in the fuse box", but I'm not seeing anything marked "A" in the fuse box...can anyone give me some additional, specific guidance on this? Thanks guys, JIm

POST 2Original post

I believe the terminal is red in color (and should be the only one). -Moto

Thanks again...Jim
