Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

Suggestion

I wonder if a PO cut the back off and put a 944 rear on and then they just ran with it.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

That was a really enjoyable watch. Amazing what they did with the restoration. German engineering mixed with Italian upholstering, and that Oak Green paint...Bellissimo!

POST 4Original post

The car they picked up was a 924. The car that got painted was a 944. Otherwise a very enjoyable watch. But something got lost in translation.

POST 5Original post

Was a good show, enjoyed how they dug into the technical aspects of the rebuild a little.  It was also cool how they rebuilt the engine even though the 'sensible' thing would have been to put something modern in there.  Felt it was a great example of modernising a classic, while still keep the soul of the car the same. When you look at the car at the beginning of the show it had 944 guards at the rear.  During the body work part, they mentioned how the rear had been replaced .. I wonder if a PO cut the back off and put a 944 rear on and then they just ran with it.
