Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • PistonHeads: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

WX52XXF I recently bought a 996 Turbo (blind, on my sofa, with no research whatsoever…) at auction. Turns out the service book has been lost, so I am trying to trace the history. The plate is WX52XXF - black manual Turbo. I’d be very grateful if anyone knows the car. And yes, I am aware I’m an idiot and that’s the worst possible way to buy a car. As luck would have it, she’s running like a dream so far. Thanks in advance.

POST 2Original post

Is this reg number correct ? DVLA say that it isn't if you try to check the RFL status and MOT history ??? Do a Google search on "Is a car taxed" and go to the GOV website ????
