Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion

Ordinarily it will be the 992.2 and 992.2S, then individual models will follow - Turbo, GTS, GT3, T, etc - and probably lots of special edition/limited run models.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi All - when do we think the 992.2 will be launched? And is there any reason to suppose that there will still be a T model with manual transmission? Ta, J.

POST 2Original post

There is another thread running about this. But, typically, the 992.2 would be announced later this year (2024MY) and deliveries would commence either later this autumn or first quarter next year. No one knows the details yet, but probably nothing radical. Ordinarily it will be the 992.2 and 992.2S, then individual models will follow - Turbo, GTS, GT3, T, etc - and probably lots of special edition/limited run models. It’s a fairly established format. Porsche are now major volume producers. Sadly, they have lost that element of exclusivity that they used to enjoy.
