Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Hey all, I currently have a CTEK 3300 with cigarette lighter adapter that I would like to use for charging my '08 Cayman for about 2 weeks (going out of town). My concerns are, will it be safe to leave the adapter plugged in for that amount of time? does it have a safe mode where it shuts off when the battery is fully charged and then charges as necessary? I am wanting to prevent an exploding battery or burnt car and apartment lol, sorry I always expect the worst with these sort of things and just want to be reassured. thanks

POST 2Original post

Yes its a fully automatic system that will switch between maintenance and standby by itself. I regularly leave mine connected for around 3 weeks when I'm away.

POST 4Original post

Does someone have a link (or name) for this charger? I might need one next month. Thank you. Eddie

POST 5Original post

You may be able to find it cheaper elsewhere as I am unable to compare prices from the UK CTEK Multi US 3300 - CTEK Battery ChargersCTEK Battery Chargers

eBay and JEGS have them for $69 with free shipping. best to call or ask if they have the cigeratte adapter which is extra and undwer $10.
