Can't remember if I did that or not but realised that I had the windscreen changed so took it back to OPC and they sorted it.

I just got my car back from a service and the GPS shows me way off from where I really am. About 200km East. How do I reset it? Thanks

With the car off and locked for 2 minutes the system should shut off and when you restart it should resync with the satellite. - Suneet

You could try to reset by disconnecting the battery. It's a strange issue... there might be a setting off in the PIWIS setup so you might have to take it in to the dealer again. - Suneet

I have the same problem. Was just about to type this: Just noticed last week that PCM had my location wrong. It hadn't been used in months and was only a few streets off so I thought it was just waiting for a good satellite signal. tried using it again at the weekend and by this time it was even worse, it thinks my location is in the sea! The funny thing is it seems to track my movement ok, it is just offset. Don't think I used the sat nav after the windscreen was changed, could the antenna have been disturbed? Already done resets etc in the PCM . Any other ideas?

The NAV uses a combination of dead reckoning and GPS to determine your position. It's possible the two are out of sync. Try telling your NAV that you have new tires (in the NAV menus, not the menu for the tire pressure sensors). That will cause it to reset the dead reckoning position. It will take a few miles to recalibrate, but by then, your position should be accurate.
