Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Bi-Xenon's is when you turn on the high beam and the shield in the projector moves and more of the projector is used which produces more light along with the halogen high beam.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I know the MY02 and 03's have Bi-Xenon system but does the Litronics from the Boxster and 996 from 99-01 have Bi-Xenon or are they just regular projectors. Bi-Xenon's is when you turn on the high beam and the shield in the projector moves and more of the projector is used which produces more light along with the halogen high beam. Thanks in advance. David.

POST 3Original post

They are not Bi-Xenon, and they do not self-level. But the xenon low beam is motorized as you describe to blend with the halogen high beam.

POST 4Original post

Upgrade is/was available, my 99 C2 already had them when I bought it in the spring of 01.
