Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I can't help feeling that it's sad these cars don't get used more.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1720639.htm I wonder how much...

POST 2Original post

That floats my boat How much do you think Stuart ? The black one with 17k miles on it on Sunday was £77k

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I actually wouldn't like to say, it's going to be way too much, 997 GT2 money? For that money it will probably never see a proper drive either...

POST 4Original post

I'm willing to start the speculative bidding at £89,995. Any takers?

POST 5Original post

That looks lovely. I've always wanted a GT2  Jim

POST 6Original post

A pal of mine bought a GT2 new in 2002. It now has 7000 miles on the clock. He went mad with the tick boxes and left the showroom £125,000 lighter in the wallet. Whenever I see him I remind him it is £10 a mile in depreciation alone. I can't help feeling that it's sad these cars don't get used more. Sure, it will devalue faster, but at least you would be getting your money's worth. I would hate to have one sitting in the garage and just look at it. It wasn't what they were meant for.

POST 8Original post

asking prices & selling prices can be two very different things. I would guess the sellers not sure of the market hence no price yet. You'd have to be dead keen to drop 75+ on this puppy. The one at Dunsfold with £77k on the window was pushing it's luck I think. Trouble is, what are you going to do with it once you've bought it? Did the ex Clapton one sell in the end?

POST 9Original post

Bramley sold a 2004 with 1,800 miles for £70,000

POST 10Original post

IMO between 65-70k, the colour which I love will put a lot of people off. Think it was up at around 69-75k when it was at top555

POST 11Original post

...virually the same as mine :thumb: although this red one does not have the CF/leather combo steering wheel and matching coloured stiching(unless I am not seeing it?). This is suprising, as those two interior GT2 options are often the first two selected. :dont know: A lovely car which suits red given it's status within the 911 range. The value of the 996 GT2, Mk1 GT3, RS's and some of the earlier air-cooled stuff is on the up again. I'd have no hesitation buying a GT2(if the price was good), as re-sale values will be healthy for a long time.
