Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Today the radio volume went out. The radio works but I can only hear a faint volume coming out of the dash speakers and nothing from the other speakers. I have the factory bose system in my '04. Has anyone have the same problem before? I'm guessing the amp is dead so I'll check after work. Does anyone know where the fuse is located?

POST 2Original post

I have the same system and once it died for a day. Then it just came back and no problems since then. Hopefully it will fix itself in your situation too.

POST 3Original post

The very same thing happened to me about a year ago. Strange! But I haven't had an issue since. 04S bob

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post
