Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My car came back from the OPC yesterday and when I've started it this morning the Engine Check light is on. The OPC said it should be ok as long as the light isn't flashing but when I mentioned that tomorrow I was off on a 300 mile round trip they advised I ring Porsche Assistance and get it recovered back to them asap. So I'm now sat waiting for the recovery people and also Enterprise who will be dropping off a hire car. There was mention of a BMW 3 series or Merc C Class. So simply out of curiosity what have others been given? I don't know if there's something in the water round here but I actually long for the Boxster courtesy car the OPC provided whilst in earlier this week. I've never been a big fan but this only had 700 miles on the clock, was in a fetching metallic blue and had a gorgeous set of 19" wheels. It was very well equipped too, had my first look at the latest PCM and it's very slick. What I presume is the sports exhaust switch doesn't seem to do a great deal but maybe it's just my hearing  This wasn't an S but felt quicker and more composed than an 2008 Boxster S I've driven. Of course perfect timing too now the weather's picked up. Whilst typing this Enterprise have just phoned their hunting their centres for a Merc or Saab, the only positive I can salvage is at least I won't be worrying about where to put all my luggage.

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just had the call to say a Mercedes E Class will be dropped off shortly. Now if I can only remember how to drive an automatic

POST 3Original post

When I've used them in the past I've had a C180K and more recently a 2010 CLS350 with Brabus tune
