Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey, if you guys haven't replaced your little clips on your windscreen and your car is three or four years old, this is just about the best use of $5 you will ever spend on your Boxster. I ordered them and popped them in last night and the center windscreen NO LONGER RATTLES. Oh happy day! Even if the clips are not broken, they stretch out and will wiggle a little back and forth and this is what causes a lot of the racket when you are driving on the freeway top down. Replacing them eliminates the wiggle room.

POST 2Original post

Ah, you mean the "windstop". I was expecting to click on this thread and find some miracle substance that fills in the tiny little nicks and scratches in a windscreen/windshield.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
