Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Trying to figure out maximum tire size I can cram in the front with flares. the 255/35 on a 19x9.5 fit easily shock clearance wise, tight on radiators. it LOOKS like a 275 30 would fit, but I can't find a good (Nt01/cup2/re71r/etc) a 275, only 285/30. Anybody fit a 285/30/19? My guess is it will run into just about everything.

POST 2Original post

Be careful not to increase the size so that any gains you make will not be erased by scrubbing in the corner. You also have friction loss on the straights. Hope you have lots of power.

POST 3Original post

Balance is important. I increased my 981CS wheels and tires to Gt4 specs (245/35/20 & 295/30/20), and I am happy with the results. I would not try to go much wider in the front without going wider in the back, which would involve more flares. Then you would need to look at big brakes and any suspension components that were not designed for the additional stress. As Nissan mentioned, there will be added friction losses, with a car that does not have a lot of torque to start with. Also try to match front and back wheel diameters within 3% of original specs, otherwise the PSM and TC can activate.
