Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • PistonHeads: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Cleared the codes and took it out for about a 30 mile drive and the CEL has not returned.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The mrs took the car today to visit some friends in Bristol (we're in London) and about 15 mins into her journey I get a call saying the CEL light is on. She comes back and luckily her mum isn't using her car so she took that. I went to ECP and picked up a OBDII scanner and it comes up with: P0491 Secondary Air Injection System Insufficient Flow Bank 1 P0492 Secondary Air Injection System Insufficient Flow Bank 2 Cleared the codes and took it out for about a 30 mile drive and the CEL has not returned. Any ideas? 2005 987 2.7

POST 8Original post

Bit of a resurrection, I’ve just had the same codes come up on mine. If I clear the codes could anyone advise how quick the EML come back on? Also, is it something that needs to be looked at asap or can it wait a bit?
