Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Okay, so I purchased a 2002 996 Cab. I've not even seen the car and already I'm pining for a modified exhaust. I've read great things about PSE on this and other forums. How does it compare in terms of sound and performance to other exhaust systems that are available? Thanks.

POST 2Original post

if you want to be LOUD, i mean 100db LOUD, the fabspeed super cup is the best. if you want to be sane loud, the best is PSE (IMHO)

POST 4Original post

I have stainless steel exhaust and headers by GHL. Sounds great and improves performance. See LanceK's post. He just installed the GHL exhaust, seems pleased and he describes the sound. It is not too loud for the streets and gives a nice burbling growl. Regards, Mike

POST 5Original post

I have the fabspeed mufflers (not the supercup muffler bypass) and I really like the sound. I've never sat in a car with PSE, but the console switch is definitely cool...
