Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

If the FIA revises the specification rules or alternatively  Porsche could submit the 4RS to make changes to its current GT4 cup car line up to the FIA , eg and run the 4.0 9A2 motor from the GT3 ,but I dont think that would happen due to keeping the different manufacturers cars close in performance .

Suggestion

Maybe they just haven't made enough of them yet for the teams so they are using the old 718 clubsport.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

The GT4 cars are cup cars these ,,are built to the FIA GT4 spec , for racing in that class ,,the GT4 RS is not eligible to race in that category ,, it is currently just a limited production road car  . I saw GT3 and GT4 cup cars being built on my recent trip to Porsche HQ at Stuttgart pretty interesting process to watch

POST 7Original post

Unsure why the 4RS clubsport isn't racing as it is racing in IMSA and other GT4 series.  Maybe they just haven't made enough of them yet for the teams so they are using the old 718 clubsport.
