Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yesterday did a 150 mile trip with no problem, car running sweet, but, movedcar today and noticed car had lost quite a lot of oil a big oil patch there on the drive. Dont look like it s coming from the engine all near the underside of the body just befoer the engine all covered all way along ? Any ideas will be taking to OPC asap hopefully covered with warranty !

POST 2Original post

how did it go ? and hope it was covered by your opc warranty

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

All was ok the car had brand new gear box in january under warranty. Whats probably happened someone must have over filled the gear box when fitted, so porsche say! So taking it on 150 mile round trip probably longest trip its done since having the new box so its found its proper level. Had it all cleaned up, not lost a drop since. Keep fingers crossed!

POST 4Original post

I had a similar problem with my Turbo. When I had the recent problem with the coolant pipe falling off and the car had to be transported and essentially sat idel for 3 1/2 weeks without it being started... when the OPC finally pushed it into their work bay to fit the part the Transmission lost a noticible amount of fluid. The OPC at first were a little worried but after cleaning it up leaving it over night and then taking it for a drive it was dry as a bone... although they hadn't seen it before they assumed that the oil must have settled in the bottom of the trans after the long period of time not being driven... and because the car wasn't started to pump the oil back round the trans and was instead pushed it just forced out the extra via an overflow... or something like this... all I know is that it didn't leak before and hasn't leaked after...
