Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

2 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

I'm thinking of replacing my stock exhaust headers and have seen these: EuroCupGT Manifold without Cats 987 Boxster / Cayman Any thoughts much appreciated and will being de-cated cause any issues? http://www.eurocupgt.com/acatalog/eurocup_porsche_... Edited by Trev450 on Wednesday 1st July 10:28

NO cats would be ******* loud imo I did it on a lotus and it was loud. I have hi flow as you know but have kept 2x 200cell cats, it's still not Bedford passable. you will also trigger a CEL and have lights flashing all on the dash, the car will also be NOT legal and would never pass an MOT. my car FLAPS unplugged so wide open 100%,, I have since pluged the flaps back in as they open WOT any way when you want the sound. https://youtu.be/NUXq8r-BD4o ON a gen 1 car you get the noise and extra power from the rear section as the gen 1 car has 2 x 400 cell CATS in the rear section. the gen 2 cars have 4 x 400 cell all in the manafolds.

Many thanks. Its loud enough with the PSE for me. Looks like it will be the cat versions then if I decide to go for them.

Ive got a gen one, see how there is some cats, hanging at the end of the manifolds, what cell are they?

Their pictures are the same as the generic stuff on eBay. The Eurocopgt brand and company is owned/set up/affiliated with Porscheshop. I've had the eBay manifollds twice, and eBay exhaust once and bought a second hand Eurocup exhaust which originally came from Porscheshop. Exactly the same as the eBay one. The Eurocup stuff is probably at least twice as much as the eBay stuff. Edited by edc on Thursday 2nd July 07:48

Anyone tried these? http://www.carnewal.com/products/P87/p87017/P87-2-... Their other stuff is always highly recommended and these will also keep the stock look, if that matters to you.
