Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey guys, Unfortunately I am having to face the idea of selling my beloved 996 Targa as a new family addition and my wife's lack of imagination in squeezing a baby into the back seat. I have a few little scratches that need taking out and the wheels being touched up pre advertising. Has anyone been to RGA Vauxhall? I think it is relatively new etc... Any feedback welcome Thanks Saltz33 (996 Targa to potentially New Shaped Cayenne S)

POST 2Original post

RGA have been there for years I used them for a couple of minor bits on my 944S2 and 993, without issue. Not sure about their paintwork though

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Spy I will give them a call... also see what the local porsche centre are looking to charge for the small bit of work.

POST 4Original post

Bob @ RGA has been there for c.15yrs I think. I have used him for two paint jobs in the past 12mths: 1) insurance claim - fit and paint new front bumper to a 996. All done to my satisfaction 2) scuttle rust & 2 other small jobs on my 964 - car has to go back in as all three elements were done poorly So, one good and one bad experience. Let us know how you get on. He charges £54 per hour excl. VAT for bodywork (for private work, for insurance I think its c. double that).
