So while I think the names get used interchangeably quite often, it's worth checking exactly what each mod involves and confirm the one you want with whoever does it carefully.

Do you recall what diameter pipe they used for the Gundo?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Heyy guys. Can anyone recommend an exhaust shop in SE QLD that:
A. Does top quality work, and
B. Has experience doing the 996 Fister exhaust mod?
Thanks,
Joshua
If you can take the rear mufflers off, then yes. Send me a message.
A fellow I know does the mod for the big workshops, but they usually take the mufflers off to bring to him.
Hi Josh,
Did you get your Gundo hack/ Fister mod done? I'm also on the Sunny Coast and looking at doing this mod.
Anyone done one? Is it too droney at highway speeds or only at startup and acceleration?
Hey Mike,
Could I get this guy's contact details please?

I did the Gundo and it was nice and subtle. I heard one car with the Fister mod and it seemed a
lot
louder. So while I think the names get used interchangeably quite often, it's worth checking exactly what each mod involves and confirm the one you want with whoever does it carefully.
Not sure sorry. Autohaus arranged it for me while doing some other work. They sent it to a guy somewhere in Sydney to do it, but I’m unsure of the details.
I never ended up getting it done. I googled around and Elite Exhaust in Brendale looked like they did top quality work so I was going to go with them.
Edit #2: removed most of my reply. I think I got my wires crossed about what is gundo and fister vs. PSE etc. I'll have to look into it all again.
