Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

My car is in the shop because someone ran into the front bumper and I’m try to machine a short throw shifter for my car for fun and I was wondering if anyone has ever measured the throw of the shifter cables? Also, I was wondering what the bolt pattern is for the studs for the shifter assembly. The length from front to back of the outside of the holes on the assembly or outside of the studs and then the width from left to right on the outside of the holes on the assembly or outside of the studs. If anyone could measure these things or know from information online, it would be extremely helpful. I did some research and couldn’t find anything so this would be good information to add to the internet.
