Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 2Original post

Check the air flow meter readings with PIWIS. The service manual gives you a load of parameters to check - ambient temp, speed, injector pulse width, ignition timing etc. I had a funny cold misfire/stutter with my 986 and it was the AFM - car went stonkingly well when it was swapped out. Used to get Lambda sensor/adaption codes on it after a longish run, but didn't get a CEL.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for that, another great suggestion to look into, just what I wanted.
