Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
74 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

996tt, Arctic silver of course with black interior. The silver contrasts nicely with all the intakes and shows off the lines nicely. Also doesn't look dirty as quickly as the darker colours which is important to us country lane living bumpkinistas.

Edited to say in the last few years although a lot of silver cars have been produced I doubt if production has been at fifty percent silver. Obviously in the eighties the 911 colour was red or black.

What Arnold used to say on the american comedy Different Strokes if anyone can't find this DeRism on google.
No DerMan I'z not calling you a YUP1, merely saying that the early (non rounded off) 911's looked best in red with black bits or black with black bits, hence many people bought them in those colours. Woz yee a flash b'stard with four inch red bracers in the eighties? hence you being a tad touchy on the matter of black 911s.
DAZ
EDITED to say, DeR is precluded from having been a Yuppie in the eighties on the basis he is a northerner.

Boxster. Yellow. Very.
( has anyone seen a MY03 BOX in black with the red leather? I am thinking about ordering and am considering this scheme, any thoughts?)
Cheers
John
Daz; actually I did fancy donning the braces in the mid-late 80s but as you say, preclusion stemmed by virtue of being northern scum (and the unheathly move away from preposterously huge cell phones.)
I must admit, if I were buying again, I'd go for a lighter colour purely on the grounds of practicality but I genuinely do like blick pigs. Even on yours (where silver does rank stratospherically high on the tallest banana scale), I saw a basalt(?) one at Dickie L's recently which fair bowled me over.
Then again, I have an unfashionable penchant for bright reds on the 911s generally, too.
That Boxster of DRG's has a certain 'je ne sais quoi' about the finish as well. Hmmm.

WHAT, WHAT, WHAT!!!!!

Outrageous, unf...........ing believable.
Maybe next time, unless I'm bypassing Bolton first.

80's 911's, I'm definitely a red and black fan, a nice 89 speedster in red with black fuchs would be nice for sunny days.

Mines not real though!

Er, whilst we're on the subject of "not real" cars, I have a scale model of a 993 that my father bought me (bless him, he didn't know the difference between that and the Carrera 3.2 which I actually owned at the time), stripped it down and spray painted it gun-metal grey, thinking a can of spray paint I had for my VW Corrado was the same as the Carrera's meteor silver, and then reassembled the pieces.
It was the thought and effort which counted.
Some beautiful photos on your site cinqster (some of the pics seem to have fallen off though
) I particularly liked the

What is it BTW ? Beetle underneath ?

Glad you like them mrsd...don't know about the pics "falling off" - they all seem to be there?
It's a GP Spyder (loosely based on a 718 RSK) and yes it's on a shortened Beetle pan with a tuned 1776 VW engine.
I want to know, model and colour
ie 993 silver
ie boxster s guards red.
I want to find out if silver has 50% of all porsche's
