I'm wanting to pull the cage out of my 991.2 GT3, so I can paint it body colour (GT Silver) before reinstalling. I'll also take the opportunity to get the dark window tint removed and replaced with a 85% ceramic tint. Has anybody done this and are there any tips or trick I should be aware of? I've got the folding buckets which I'll remove also to make access a bit easier.

I’ve had my motorsport shop do it once, and it was powder coat not paint on the roll cage as an FYI. Also there is technique to getting things like seat bolts back in, as I discovered late on Saturday night. There’s a particular order you have to do the tightening up of the bolts to the floor for the seat otherwise it won’t go in. I can’t remember any more than that.
