This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

14 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Has anyone tried one of these - even if it's just to fill a gap? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/spoiler-contr...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3cad629af9 :?:

POST 4Original post

Yes, doddle to fit and works a treat, i'm sure some will think its a bit of a toy but it does indicate the spoiler is working as it should :dont know:

POST 5Original post

I have an app for this. Well, I say "app".. what I do is hold the iphone (turned off) up above the rear view mirror, just below the roof, and check the reflection of the spoiler in the iphone screen. Works every time. No installation, and you don't even need 3G signal.

POST 7Original post

Is your spoiler going all the way up? I can see the top edge of mine in the rear-view mirror when it's up.

POST 8Original post

I can see the top of mine in the rear view mirror as well, and I wouldn't describe myself as tall. Maybe ours are going too far up!

POST 9Original post

Actually I pretty much can just about see the very tip if I look in the very top of the rear view mirror. Mine's a Targa, don't know if the bottom edge of my rear window is higher or lower than a C2. But we all seem agreed we don't need a flashing light to tell us...

POST 10Original post

Sure we don't need one but I think the OP meant for it a 'nice to have' function. I have the same device but I wasn't able to fit it as it proved too much of a headache uncrewing the dashboard binnacle and removing the hazard warning light indicator as well. The light only flashes when the spoiler is in motion and yes it would nicely replace any blank switches one may have in the cntre console. ~ Maxie :thumb:

POST 11Original post

Ah, but it could be flashing when its going down instead of up and vice versa. Does it keep flashing if it only goes half way up or half way down [said the grand old duke of york]. besides, what's wrong with the light in the dash telling you it's working correctly? I of course have a fixed spoiler so I don't have to worry if it's up or down, I worry about that third brake light not functioning, maybe I should get a dash warning light for that 8) TB

POST 12Original post

..and a dash warning light to tell you when the dash warning light is not working?... :? BTW no offence intended to the OP at all, I must just be in a flippant mood today.

POST 13Original post

Loool  Reminds me of those after-market car stereo manufacturers who supplied a remote control for the units.....now what was the point of that? ~ Maxie

POST 14Original post

It was for the kids in the back to be even more annoying on long journeys  TB
