Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

This is the weekend project that is now dragging on to 6 months!! I always thought the OEM carpet looks lame so some inspiration from the PP Forum had me hooked to make it look a little nicer. There were a few people who had posted measurements as a guide but it is really trail an error. Cardboard template to start then 12mm base and sides, 6mm for the top then glassed up for rigidity. The rear back section interlocks with the sides so removal is straight forward. Base covered in Pepita and side will be covered in black carpet.

POST 2Original post

Great job.  Is the spare wheel underneath the base?

POST 3Original post

It looks good a lot of work but well worth it, here is me 993 eff ort Spare tyre underneath, this version had the cutout for the fuse/relay box. On my Cab>Targa conversion build (currently for sale) I removed the fuse box cover and it offers a smoother look. (Can’t find image) cover on RHS hides brake reservoir.

Yep as well as the tool kit and jack. There are various bits of foam stuck to the bottom of the base to make it flat.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

All done with a Silver-Knit type carpet

I did think to make a mould of the sides when I had a chance but that was as far as it got. Here is a bit of a guide to the measurements. As before, it is a bit of trail and error.

POST 11Original post

That's a great job. However, I just bought the carboner drunk mat. For anyone interested, it's not a great fit, definately far better that the OEM, but tht's not saying much. If I recall correctly u don't get much change from 1K shipped. If I had've seen this post I would def try and make one like it. DM
