This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Looks like you are looking at the model years 2000-2004. There is a series of 13 articles on buying a Boxster, problem areas, model year differences, etc here. While it is written by a Yank, it is probably 95% accurate for your models. You tend to differ on the extended warranty aspects but the basic models are the same. Written by someone I know who owned 2, a '99 2.5 and a '01S 3.2. http://sites.google.com/site/mikefocke2/mikesporsc...
