Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

You can see the video on video.google.com or download the episode using bit torrent @ www.finalgear.com . Mr. Clarkson did not like the car at all. Infact he calls it the Cockster since he claims only cocks buy porsches. Disagreeing with the styling is one thing but I do not understand why he dislikes a car which he claims is extremely precise to drive. I think he even compared it to the prcision of a swiss knife. Good video around the track regardless.

POST 2Original post

please remember that clarkson is a well known porsche hater... it still managed a very respectable time around the track with the stig

POST 4Original post

There was a fair bit of talk about it right after the air time. His comments about the gear shifter were dismissed by people that drive Boxters and know the shifter. As for where the car slots in the Porsche lineup - for someone like him, not understanding that cars are designed to sell, I find it a strange comment - of course it was designed to have 295HP - the only cars designed with no financial limit seem to be F1 - all others are either designed by the marketing department ( Cayman ), or engineering ( enter example here ??? ) where price becomes secondary issue. Since no car is designed in a vacuum, most cars have competition from other brands ( this was easy to see if one looks at the Porsche internal marketing document posted here while back comparing Cayman to few other cars - good read ).

POST 6Original post

Top What. I will forever remeber him as Mr. "Cockson". A legend in his own mind, strangely.

POST 7Original post

Love me, hate me, just don't ignore me. It's about television ratings and the behavior essential to 'celebrity', not cars and their performance or value. His attitude and behavior are as much a put on as if he were in a clown suit.

POST 9Original post

is it just me or does the guy come off like a pompous windbag that is stuck on himself.....
